Eugene A. Maltez Info

Eugene A. Maltez was born in California, Los Angeles in 1982 and lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. Acknowledging flaws in the making process Maltez art incorporates a neo-minimalist aesthetic in a process driven, pragmatic, straightforward approaches to making. He studied at California State Los Angeles and East Los Angeles College. He received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014. Has exhibited work at A to Z West, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, Sullivan Galleries, the Vincent Price Art Museum, the Center for the Study of Political Graphics. He lives and works in Chicago.
